Hey there, fellow learners!

So, the other day, I was reminiscing about my first couple of weeks at Amal Academy, and I stumbled upon a few pictures that took me back. Let me share with you what each of them reminds me of:

My Amal Award: This picture brings back a rush of emotions. Winning that award was such a big moment for me. It reminded me of the excitement and pride I felt when my hard work was recognized. It was like a pat on the back, telling me I was on the right track.

The Garden Disturber Cat: Ah, this little troublemaker! Every time we’d head out to the garden for a break, this curious cat would tag along, getting under our feet and causing a ruckus. It’s funny how such a small thing became a big part of our daily routine. It reminds me of the little moments of joy and laughter we shared amidst all the learning.

Group Description: This picture takes me back to those early days when we were still getting to know each other. We’d sit in a circle, sharing bits and pieces of our stories — where we came from, and what we hoped to achieve. It was a beautiful moment of connection and understanding, laying the foundation for the friendships that would blossom over time.

Group Photo of Amal Fellows: Looking at this photo fills me with gratitude. It’s a snapshot of the diverse group of individuals who embarked on this journey with me. Each face holds a story, a dream, a unique perspective. It reminds me of the sense of belonging and camaraderie that I found within this community.

Wise Girls Memories: This picture is like a treasure trove of memories. From late-night study sessions to heartfelt conversations, it encapsulates the bonds we forged and the lessons we learned together. It reminds me of the growth and transformation that took place within us during those first few weeks.

Reflecting on these pictures, I realize just how much I’ve learned and grown since the beginning of this journey. In those early days, I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness — stepping into the unknown can be daunting, after all. But as I immersed myself in the experience, I discovered a resilience and determination within myself that I never knew existed.

In those first two weeks, I learned the power of community, the importance of vulnerability, and the value of embracing challenges as opportunities for growth. Most importantly, I discovered that the journey of self-discovery is not meant to be traveled alone — it’s the connections we make along the way that truly enrich the experience.

And so, as I look back on these pictures and reminisce about the beginning of my Amal Academy journey, I’m filled with gratitude for the experiences shared, the lessons learned, and the friendships formed. Here’s to many more memories and milestones yet to come!
